The Backwater Bay Blog!

Last week my son David and his neighbor Brad from NC visited for a long weekend.  While doing a lot of backwater fishing with little success we decided to venture out into the gulf of mexico.  We traveled out 17 miles in 65' of water and caught some Red Grouper.  We kept these and released all the others.  When we came back to the dock we cleaned the Grouper and Dave the chef at OTW prepared three filets for our lunch.
